 WILDLIFE CAMP
- South Luangwa NP
Wildlife Camp offers affordable packages, with rustic
ensuite chalets, a secluded tented camp, a bush camp for
overnight walking safaris and a campsite, all situated on
the banks of the Luangwa river.
The
camp is owner run and is situated on land owned by the
Wildlife & Environmental Society of Zambia with 60% of all
accommodation and camping fees donated to the education of
Zambian children in conservation.
There
are 9 comfortable chalets in a tranquil setting alongside
the river and the lagoon, all with a veranda where guests
can relax and watch the wildlife.
The
tented camp, with 5 ensuite tents under a thatched roof is
located beyond the campsite.
The
bush camp has four twin tents and is located on the
peninsula of the Game Management Area. It offers guests the
chance to experience an overnight walking safari.
Activities include day and night drives, all in modified
Landrovers, and trips to the local village with a chance to
get to know the varied Zambian culture.
