MWAMBASHI RIVER LODGE

Deep within the hart of the Lower Zambezi National Park lies Mwambashi River Lodge. Accommodating 16 guests in large comfortable safari tents built on raised wooden decks.

Each tent has ensuite facilities. The tents are stylishly appointed and all have private balconies with superb views over the river.

Mwambashi is renowned not only for its fabulous location but also for its friendly service. There is always something special on offer at Mwambashi, whether it is a bush dinner, sundowners on the river or a day of exhilarating game viewing, canoeing the delightful channels or landing your first Tiger fish.

The lodge itself is a tranquil haven where guests can relax in camp and simply enjoy the immediate surroundings or opt to go on any one of the activities on offer.

Activities are day and night game drives in open vehicles, boating and fishing on the river and beautiful channels, guided walking and bird watching. All activities are accompanied by professional guides.

The Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife from plains game, huge herds of elephant and buffalo, lion, leopard, wild dog and hippo and crocodiles in the river.
