MWALESHI
CAMP
- North Luangwa National
Park

Mwaleshi
Camp is an enigmatic walking camp that accommodates up to
eight guests within the remote North Luangwa National Park.
Situated on a scenic bend of the Mwaleshi river 10km from
the Luangwa confluence, this is a place of peace and
simplicity contrasted with stunning wildlife action.
The
excitement of watching hyenas hunting puku in front of camp,
or observing huge herds of buffalo and the endemic Cookson’s
wildebeest on foot, are some of the experiences that might
draw guests to Mwaleshi Camp, but the comfort of the en
suite rooms crafted around the trees and the excellent
cuisine are equally important factors to consider.
A day
trip to the Mwaleshi Falls upstream of the camp has been
rated by one travel writer as a top highlight in Zambia and
a visit is often possible if staying for three or more
nights.
