MUSHROOM LODGE
- South Luangwa NP
Mushroom Lodge and Presidential House opened in September
2006, is located inside South Luangwa National Park.
The
lodge has six double chalets built right on the edge of the
lagoon in a well developed grove of African Ebony trees.
Each
ensuite chalet comes with either twin or double bed options,
a spacious lounge and a mini bar.
Facilities include two
showers one outside and one inside per single chalet, plus a
bath and separate toilet.
 Verandas on each chalet overlook
the lagoon for safe and close up viewing of birds and
wildlife.
There
is an open air dining area with barbecue facilities.
 A
hotel equipped kitchen ensures top class cuisine for guests
as they enjoy uninterrupted views over the lagoon. There is
a well stocked bar with an open air fore place for cooler
evenings.
A
swimming pool provides relief in the hotter months.
Lounge platforms overlooking the lagoon allow safe,
leisurely and close up game viewing.
Massage facilities for the physical comfort and relaxation
of guests are available upon request in advance.
