Mukambi Safari Lodge & Busanga Plains Camp

Mukambi Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of the Kafue river and offers a variety of activities in the park.

The lodge is open year round and is easily accessible, even without a 4x4.

The lodge has 8 double and twin chalets with ensuite bathrooms, one family villa right on the river’s edge that sleeps four, and 7 thatched and fully furnished safari tents.

It also runs Busanga Plains Camp in the far north of the park, which is accessible in the dry season (July/October)

The 5 hours drive to the camp is one long game drive through various habitats with abundant wildlife.

The plains are famous for their red lechwe, roan, huge herds of buffalo and wildebeest. The Plains’ lions are famous and cheetahs, leopards and wild dogs are spotted regularly.

The camp consists of 4 furnished en-suite safari tents. The menu will match the personalised service. Your stay on the plains will be memorable.
