 MCHENJA BUSH CAMP

Mchenja, meaning the ebony tree, is set beneath a
magnificent grove of these trees on the banks of the Luangwa
river.
Although this camp takes luxury in the bush to a level not
previously seen in Zambia, it is designed to combine
excellently with the other more rustic bushcamps of this
company.
The
camp comprises five stylishly designed tents each under its
own thatched roof, and each with private ensuite shower and
bathroom facilities and bath.
There
is a small pool alongside the bar within the thatched
chitenge, allowing guests to seek cool refuge during the
heat of the day.
Mchenja is the perfect destination to complete a walking
safari that has combined stays at a number of camps.
Alternatively, those guests seeking a bit more luxury and
pampering may choose to combine a longer stay here, either
walking or driving, with a number of nights at the main
lodge.
