Flatdogs Camp offers inclusive safari packages and accommodation types to suit all means.

These include eight luxurious ensuite chalet rooms, the unique Jackal Barry Tree House – ideal for honeymoons and privacy- and six ensuite safari tents with open air bathrooms and views of the Luangwa river.

The riverfront has been left undeveloped. Visitors can sit under shady trees and watch the game in the National Park across the water.

Safari activities take place in the same game viewing areas as other lodges in the Luangwa and safari guides are trained to the same exceptional standards.


The campsite, which will be closing in June 2009, is kept as natural as possible and large numbers of game wander freely through the camp. There is also a rich birdlife.

 

 

Flatdogs is a family friendly camp. Facilities include a pool, space for children to play and a childrens menu. A nanny service is available.

The restaurant is open all day and has an a la carte menu with excellent food. There is also a bar and a small internet café.
