Formerly a private presidential retreat, Chichele
Presidential Lodge occupies a splendid hilltop location in
the heart of the South Luangwa National park, with vistas
over the river plains teeming with game.
Chichele offers a stylish country house
atmosphere with discreet service, outstanding cuisine and a
second to none game viewing experience even from the airy
veranda.
 Sanctuary
Lodges and Camps has totally refurbished the main building
to create a spectacular Victorian style safari lodge.
The
main building houses six of the elegantly spacious rooms,
while four are built along the edge of the hill side.
 All
enjoy panoramic views of the plains, while quality
furnishings and finishes ensure the highest standard of
comfort. All rooms are air conditioned with ensuite
bathrooms which houses a bath and a shower.
Other
facilities include a beauty treatment room,
swimming pool and curio shop.
 All
meals are a la carte, with a good selection of dishes,
served in venues varying from an elegant dining room to
scenic verandas and camp fire gatherings.
Activities include 4x4 game drives and walks in the National
Park.
