BAINES RIVER CAMP

Baines’ River Camp is a luxury camp on the banks of the Lower Zambezi. The camp is a 35 minute flight from Lusaka, or alternatively a very scenic 2 hour drive from the Zambian capital, following the Kafue and the Zambezi Rivers.

On arrival guests are met by experienced river guides and are taken along the mighty Zambezi for the last 40 kilometres of their journey to Baines.

Baines River Camp has 8 colonial style suites. Each named after African explorers the suites are extremely luxurious and beautifully furnished – all complete with ceiling fans, air conditioning, mini bars, king size beds and natural timbers.

Tented safari accommodation is also available on request.

Offering a wide range of activities including game drives, fishing for the famous Tiger fish and canoe trips, Baines provides a truly unique safari experience.

The camp has conference facilities, making it the ideal venue for seminars and business meetings, as well as photographic workshops  and fly fishing clinics
